Get answers to common questions about Brazilian.

Most Brazilian appointments take 30 to 45 minutes, depending on hair density and client comfort. Please arrive a few minutes early for a brief consultation; we'll review preferences, skin sensitivity, and aftercare to ensure a safe, comfortable experience.

Pain varies by individual and sensitivity. Most clients report brief discomfort during hair removal, with the worst moments lasting seconds. Experienced estheticians use techniques, numbing options, and a calming environment to minimize pain; regular waxing often reduces sensitivity over time.

Let hair grow about a quarter-inch so wax can grip. Exfoliate gently 48 hours prior, avoid retinoids or tanning, and arrive clean with no heavy lotions. Communicate medications or skin conditions beforehand for safe treatment.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and tight clothing for 24-48 hours. Use gentle cleanser and fragrance-free moisturizer, and apply a soothing antiseptic or aloe gel if needed. Exfoliate lightly after 72 hours to prevent ingrowns and follow esthetician advice.

Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks, influenced by individual hair growth cycles and hormones. With regular waxing, regrowth often becomes finer and sparser, extending intervals between appointments for many people.

Certain conditions—active rashes, sunburn, open wounds, recent surgery, radiation, or some skin disorders—may preclude waxing. Blood-thinning medications and isotretinoin/Accutane require caution. Disclose medical history and medications during booking so we can assess safety or recommend alternatives.
