Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Stomach.

A typical stomach sugaring session at Spa Apsara lasts about 15-25 minutes depending on hair density and coverage. First-time clients should allow extra time for consultation and skin assessment to ensure a comfortable, safe experience.

Most clients find sugaring less painful than traditional waxing because the sugar paste adheres to hair, not skin. Sensitivity varies; our technicians use techniques to minimize discomfort and can recommend topical soothing options if needed.

Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid applying lotions, oils, or heavy creams. Hair should be at least about 1/4 inch long for effective removal. Inform us of medications, recent exfoliation, or skin conditions beforehand.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense workouts, and direct sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Keep the area clean, gently exfoliate after 48 hours to prevent ingrowns, and use recommended soothing products provided by your technician.

For best results, allow hair to grow for about 2-3 weeks or at least 1/4 inch so the sugar can grip well. If hair is too short, you may need to reschedule for optimal removal.

Sugaring typically reduces ingrown hair risk compared with other methods, but they can still occur. Proper pre- and post-care, regular gentle exfoliation, and professional technique minimize problems. Consult us if you have sensitive skin or pigmentation concerns.
