Most clients enjoy 3–6 weeks of smoothness. Duration depends on your hair growth cycle, thickness and aftercare. Regular sugaring can lengthen time between treatments as regrowth becomes finer. We’ll recommend a follow-up schedule based on your individual results.

No—sugaring does not cause thicker or darker regrowth. It removes hair from the root, which often results in softer, finer hair over time. Consistent treatments tend to reduce density compared with shaving or depilatories.

Sensitivity varies, but most clients feel only mild discomfort or a quick sting. Sugaring is gentler than waxing because the paste adheres to hair, not skin. Arrive relaxed, avoid caffeine, and follow technician guidance to minimize discomfort.

Aim for about 1/4 inch of hair length for best results. Come with clean, makeup-free sideburns and avoid exfoliating or heavy creams the day of your service. Let us know about any recent treatments or skin sensitivities.

You may notice temporary redness, slight swelling or mild sensitivity for a few hours after sugaring. Rarely, small bumps or ingrown hairs appear. Follow aftercare—gentle exfoliation and moisturizers—and contact us if irritation persists beyond 48 hours.

Most clients book Side-Burns sugaring every 3–6 weeks for maintenance. As hair regrowth slows and thins with repeated sessions, intervals can be extended. We’ll assess your growth pattern and suggest a personalized schedule during your visit.
