Frequently Asked Questions

Hair should be about 3–5 mm (roughly a grain of rice) for effective removal. If hair is too long we may trim it; too short may require waiting until regrowth for best results.

Most clients return every 4–6 weeks depending on individual growth cycles. With consistent treatments many notice finer regrowth and longer intervals between appointments over time.

Some discomfort is normal but sugaring is generally gentler than waxing. Because paste follows hair direction and minimizes skin pulling, many find it less painful even for thicker hair types.

Clean skin and avoid heavy lotions before your appointment. Exfoliate 24–48 hours prior if possible, and avoid sunburn. Arrive with hair at recommended length for the best, most comfortable service.

Wear loose clothing and avoid hot baths, saunas, or heavy exercise for 24–48 hours. Apply a calming lotion or aloe, and begin gentle exfoliation after 48–72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs.

Many common sensitivities are compatible, but active sunburn, open wounds, severe eczema, psoriasis flare-ups, or certain circulatory issues may be contraindications. Please consult our therapist for a patch test and guidance.
