Get answers to common questions about Full Legs.

A Full Legs sugaring session usually takes 45 to 75 minutes depending on hair density and client comfort. Preparation and short consultation add a few minutes. Book slightly more time for first visits so our specialist can assess skin and hair for best results.

Sugaring generally causes less irritation and fewer ingrown hairs than waxing because the paste sticks to hair, not skin. Regular exfoliation, proper hair length, and our aftercare recommendations reduce ingrowns further. We can advise personalized care if you have prior issues.

Trim or let hair grow to about 1/4 inch (roughly 6mm); this length allows the sugar to grip effectively. Exfoliate 24–48 hours before, avoid lotions or oils on the day, and arrive with clean, dry skin for best results.

Most clients return every 4–6 weeks initially, depending on individual hair growth. With regular sugaring follicles weaken and hair grows back finer, allowing treatments to be spaced to 6–8 weeks. Your technician will recommend a schedule based on results.

Sugaring is generally safe during pregnancy and often gentler than other methods. However, consult your healthcare provider if you have concerns, especially in early pregnancy. For sensitive skin, sugaring is recommended and we perform a patch test to ensure no adverse reaction.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, heavy exercise and direct sun for 24–48 hours to reduce irritation. Use gentle, fragrance-free moisturizers and avoid exfoliation for the first 48 hours. After two days, regular exfoliation and moisturizing help prevent ingrown hairs.
