Get answers to common questions about Buttocks.

You may feel quick tugs and mild discomfort, but most clients describe tolerable sensations. Experienced technicians use slow technique, skin tension and natural paste to reduce pain. Numbing creams can be used on request; breathing and relaxation help.

Appointments vary, but Buttocks sugaring typically takes 20–40 minutes including consultation and prep. Time depends on hair length, skin sensitivity and whether additional areas or aftercare are needed. Allow extra time for first appointments.

Ensure hair is about 1/4-inch long, exfoliate 24–48 hours before, and arrive clean and free of lotions. Avoid sunburns, retinoids or recent chemical peels. Tell your technician about medications and skin conditions to ensure a safe treatment.

We recommend waiting 6–12 hours before showering to allow pores to calm; a gentle lukewarm shower is fine afterward. Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense sweating and exfoliation for 24–48 hours to minimize irritation and infection risk.

Sugaring usually decreases ingrown hairs because paste removes hair in the direction of growth and exfoliates. Consistent appointments, gentle exfoliation and proper aftercare further reduce ingrowns. However genetics and hair type can still cause occasional ingrown hairs.

Generally safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but sensitivity and blood flow changes may increase discomfort. Inform your technician and consult your healthcare provider if concerned. We can adjust positioning and techniques; some prefer to wait until after the first trimester.
