Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Brow Shaping ( sugaring ).

A typical Brow Shaping (sugaring) appointment lasts about 25–40 minutes. This includes precise facial measuring, sugaring, trimming, and a short consultation to customize shape. Please arrive a few minutes early for prep and any questions.

Sugaring is often gentler and more skin-friendly because the paste adheres to hair rather than skin. It reduces breakage and irritation, making it ideal for sensitive areas like brows while delivering smooth, comparable results.

Our stylists prioritize your preferences and facial proportions, shaping brows to enhance natural fullness rather than over-thinning. We measure and discuss thickness, arch, and endpoints to create a flattering, balanced design.

Avoid heavy exfoliation, retinol, or sunburned skin for at least 48 hours prior. Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows. Ideally hair should be about 1/8 inch long for effective sugaring; avoid tweezing for two to three weeks.

Avoid hot showers, saunas, heavy sweating, and direct sun for 24 hours. Refrain from makeup and touching to prevent irritation. Use a soothing oil or aloe if recommended and skip harsh exfoliants for 48 hours.

Most clients return every 3–6 weeks depending on hair growth and maintenance preferences. Shorter intervals preserve shape and definition; your technician will recommend timing based on your hair cycle and goals.
