Get answers to common questions about Bikini.
We recommend hair about a quarter to a half inch long so the sugar paste grips properly. If hair is too short we may need to reschedule; if very long, we’ll trim a little for comfort.
Yes. Regular sugaring weakens hair follicles and can slow regrowth, producing finer and sparser hair over months. Consistent appointments every four to eight weeks yield the best long-term reduction and smoother results.
Most clients find sugaring less painful than waxing because the paste adheres to hair, not skin, and is removed in the direction of growth. Any discomfort is brief and typically diminishes with repeat sessions.
Avoid heavy creams or oils on the day of service, exfoliate gently two to three days prior, and arrive clean. Avoid sunburn or recent tanning; if you use medications or recent skincare treatments, let us know.
Avoid hot baths, saunas, and vigorous exercise for 24 hours to prevent irritation. Wear breathable clothing, exfoliate gently after 48 hours, and apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer to keep skin calm and prevent ingrown hairs.
Sugaring is generally safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but sensitivity can increase. Consult your healthcare provider if concerned, inform your technician, and schedule when you feel most comfortable.
