Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about MD-Back.

MD-Back uses a medical-grade microdermabrasion device to exfoliate and suction the back, removing dead skin, unclogging pores, and smoothing texture. Sessions typically last 30–45 minutes including consultation and post-care, depending on skin condition and treatment area.

Most clients see improvement after 1–3 sessions; a series of 4–6 spaced two to four weeks apart often yields optimal texture, scar reduction, and pore clarity. We customize the plan based on skin type and response.

Most clients experience mild abrasion and temporary redness similar to a light sunburn. Discomfort is minimal; we use adjustable settings and soothing serums. Downtime is low—typically 24–72 hours for redness to subside, with no long-term restrictions.

Yes. MD-Back helps unclog pores, reduce bacterial buildup, and exfoliate damaged tissue, improving active acne and smoothing mild-to-moderate scarring. Combined with topical treatments or professional peels, results are enhanced; severe scarring may require additional therapies.

MD-Back is safe for most skin types but not recommended for active infections, open wounds, severe eczema, rosacea flare-ups, or recent tanning. Pregnant clients and those on certain exfoliating medications should consult our therapist and physician before treatment.

Avoid heavy exfoliation, tanning, and retinoids for one week prior. On the day, arrive with clean, product-free skin. After treatment, use gentle cleansers, broad-spectrum SPF, and hydrating serums. Follow our aftercare plan and schedule follow-up visits for best results.
