Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Cavitation.

Cavitation uses low-frequency ultrasound to rupture fat cell membranes, releasing fatty contents into the lymphatic system. The body naturally metabolizes and eliminates these fats; we follow each thirty-minute treatment with lymphatic drainage to accelerate removal and support safe, non-invasive reduction.

Cavitation is generally safe for most body areas and skin types when performed by trained professionals. Contraindications include pregnancy, active infection, implanted devices, and certain medical conditions. A consultation and medical history review ensure suitability and personalized treatment planning.

Most clients need a series of treatments—typically six to twelve sessions per area, spaced weekly—to achieve noticeable contouring. Results depend on individual fat volume, lifestyle, and goals. Maintenance sessions, exercise, and healthy diet help preserve and enhance long-term outcomes.

Cavitation is usually painless; clients may feel mild warmth, tingling, or temporary redness. Some experience brief bruising or sensitivity in treated areas. Proper technique and post-treatment lymphatic drainage minimize discomfort. Serious side effects are rare when performed by licensed professionals.

Cavitation can reduce the fat component of cellulite and improve skin contour, but it is not a guaranteed cellulite cure. Combining treatments—such as radiofrequency, manual massage, and lymphatic drainage—plus exercise and hydration produces more consistent improvement in texture and appearance.

Aftercare includes drinking plenty of water, light exercise to boost circulation, and avoiding alcohol or heavy meals for 24–48 hours. Attend your scheduled lymphatic drainage session immediately after treatment and maintain healthy habits to support fat elimination and optimal results.
