Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Back Glow.

Back Glow begins with dry brushing to slough dead skin, followed by a sugar scrub and hot towels. A soothing minty mask calms and detoxifies, finished with rich shea butter and a targeted back massage for complete rejuvenation.

Yes — we customize pressure and product strength for sensitive skin. We perform a patch test for the minty mask and can omit aggressive exfoliation. Inform your therapist of allergies or conditions and we'll tailor the treatment to keep you comfortable and safe.

Typical sessions run forty-five to sixty minutes. Expect thorough exfoliation, relaxing warm towels, a cooling mint mask and a nourishing shea butter massage. You'll leave with smoother, hydrated skin and reduced tension across your shoulders and upper back.

The minty mask often produces a gentle cooling and mild tingling sensation as it stimulates circulation. This is normal and short-lived. If you experience sharp pain, intense burning, or prolonged irritation, alert your therapist immediately and the mask will be removed.

For maintenance, book every three to four weeks to keep skin smooth and glowing. For intensive concerns or congestion, begin with bi-weekly sessions for a few months, then space appointments as your skin improves and tolerance increases.

Avoid treatment if you have sunburn, open wounds, active acne cysts, contagious skin conditions, recent chemical peels, or medications that increase photosensitivity. Always disclose medical history, recent procedures and medications so we can advise, adapt or postpone treatment.
